The Rules

General Rules
(These rules apply everywhere.)

1) Be Polite/Respectful: Especially to Staff Members and new members. The worst thing is when you join a new forum and everyone is rude to you. Be nice to everyone and they'll be nice back.

2) No Harassment/Cyber Bullying/Racism: This is unacceptable. PM a Staff Member if someone is harassing you. They will get a warning, but if it continues, there is a high chance they will get banned. I hope it'll never come down to that.

3) No l337 Talk: ...Because I don't understand it. If you don't know what this is, you have nothing to worry about.

4) Little Swearing: I'm not the hugest fan of cursing, unless it is needed in the moment.

5) No Double Posting: For some reason, this bothers me. Double posting will only be allowed in special circumstances, for example, in your Journal, or in Azurian Legends if no one is RPing with you.

6) No Bumping/Powerposting: This is just annoying. If someone wants to post on a topic, they will.

7) No Spamming/Flaming: This is also annoying. I've had people spam me before, it's just plain obnoxious and childish.

8) No Pornography/Inappropriate Images: No one here needs to see it.

9) Staff Can Break Rules: Only when absolutely necessary.

Role Playing Rules
(These are additional rules that apply only when you're role playing in Azurian Legends.)

10) Must Have Accepted Profile: Before you start to role play, make sure that your profile is accepted first. You might have to wait a bit until it is accepted, but we want to make sure that all your character's information is accurate and will work in Azurian Legends. (Or if you want to be a Canon, make sure a staff member has allowed you to be that Canon. Then you can start role playing.)

11) One Or Two Profiles Per Account: It can get confusing if you're a lot of characters in Azurian Legends. I will accept multiple accounts to make more profiles, only if you can keep it up. If you want to delete/terminate your character to make a new one, PM the Administrator. If you wish to make two profiles, you can make your first one right away but you must wait and have at least 10 posts before you can make a second one/before your second one can be accepted. (If you want to be twins who are together all the time, or something like this, that can count as one profile.)

12) Rule Of Canons: Canons are 'pre-mades'. Characters that a staff member has made and allowed a different member to role play with him/her/it. If you want to be a certain Canon, ask in the thread of that Canon, and a staff member will allow you to be him/her/it. If the Canon is already taken, then you can't be it. It's first come first serve. If the thread is locked and/or there is a name beside "Username", then it is taken. Every member is allowed to be two Canons, even if they already have an accepted profile or two accepted profiles. (Members are allowed to get a Canon right away, but in order to get a second Canon you must have at least 300 posts.) So, every member is allowed to be a total of four characters in Azurian Legends if they want. But they cannot have any more than two canons and two profiles that they made. They can have any combination that they want within those limits. If a member only wants to be one character, that's perfectly fine.

13) Be Literate: Write like you want to get published. This makes it much easier to read posts and reply to them. Plus, we can all enjoy each other's writing. (And not to mention that I'm obsessed with correct spelling/grammar for things like this.)

14) Post In Third Person: Write from your character's point of view. It can get confusing when someone writes in first person. Sometimes you don't know if they are talking about themselves or their character.

15) Submit Posts Of Decent Length: Avoid one liners as much as possible. A paragraph at least, please. We all get writer's block sometimes, so it is exceptable when you occasionally write just a line or two.

16) No Taking Control Over Others' Characters: No posting other member's character's actions.

17) Locking Threads: When you are done role playing within a thread, PM the Administrator and I will lock it.
